Advertising, Marketing and Propaganda

Advertising is when a product is being shown that you will get what you want where as marketing just shows that product and what it does. (I don't know what propaganda means). Advertising show that if you use their product, then you will get what you want such as rich hair for shampoo or irresistible lips for lipstick. They are saying that if you use these products then you will become that cats pajamas. Marketing shows that product, what it does and the benefits from it. Such as the new Ford series trucks. They say that they are new and improved trucks with better gas mileage. They aren't saying that if you drive a new Ford F-150 that girls will be fighting to get a ride from. They just show the product.
